About ProfitEcom
What will ProfitEcom actually help me improve?
You will see which products, categories, channels, or markets are truly profitable. This allows you to make better decisions regarding marketing, pricing, assortment, or expansion.
What's the difference compared to common analytics tools?
Common analytics tools often show traffic, conversions, or campaign performance. ProfitEcom focuses on e-commerce economics: orders, products, margins, returns, and profit after marketing.
Is ProfitEcom just another dashboard?
No. A dashboard is just an output. What's important are the methodology and calculations behind it. ProfitEcom helps standardize how revenue, margins, returns, marketing costs, and profit after marketing are calculated.
What exactly does ProfitEcom do?
ProfitEcom combines sales, orders, products, margins, returns, and marketing costs into a single overview. It helps identify where an e-commerce business truly makes a profit and where only revenue is growing.
Data, ERP, and Accuracy
What if our data isn't perfectly in order?
That's common. First, we'll determine what data you have and how it's structured. If necessary, a transformation layer or data adjustment will be prepared so that outputs can be calculated according to a unified methodology.
How accurate is the data in ProfitEcom?
The quality of outputs depends on the quality of input data. That's why CORE includes initial analysis, methodology setup, and validation of results for your specific business.
Co znamená „skutečná ziskovost“?
Znamená to, že výsledek nehodnotíme jen podle obratu nebo ROAS. Zohledňujeme prodeje, marže, vratky, storna a marketingové náklady. Výsledkem je pohled na to, co po nákladech skutečně zůstává.
Why is an ERP or order management system important?
Because marketing platforms alone don't understand the true economics of orders. An ERP or order management system helps to supplement actual orders, items, statuses, returns, cancellations, and other data needed for profitability calculation.
What data do you need?
It depends on the chosen level. For MARKETING, we primarily need data from advertising platforms. For CORE, we need orders, order items, product data, margins or COGS, returns, cancellations, and marketing costs.
MARKETING / CORE / FULL
Does CORE show the profitability of specific campaigns?
CORE reveals the true economics of an e-shop, products, categories, channels, and marketing costs. Accurate measurement of the customer journey and campaign profitability along this journey will be part of the upcoming FULL level.
Is FULL available yet?
FULL is currently under development. CORE is our main product at the moment. If you're interested in FULL, we can discuss the necessary data and technical integration with you.
What is FULL?
FULL is an upcoming advanced level. It will complement the website's tracking script and show which advertising platforms and campaigns were part of the customer journey before purchase.
What is the difference between MARKETING and CORE?
MARKETING unifies the costs and performance of advertising platforms. CORE goes deeper: it connects marketing costs with actual orders, margins, returns, and cancellations.
Proč je CORE hlavní produkt?
Protože ukazuje skutečnou ekonomiku e-shopu. Neřeší jen marketingový výkon, ale to, jestli e-shop po započtení marží, vratek a marketingových nákladů opravdu vydělává.
Implementation and Usage
Can marketing agencies use ProfitEcom too?
Yes. The agency can work with profitability data for products, categories, or profit segments. This means it doesn't have to optimize solely based on revenue or ROAS.
Who will use ProfitEcom?
Typically the owner, company management, finance department, in-house marketing, or a marketing agency. The goal is for everyone to work with the same understanding of the e-shop's economics.
Why can't CORE just be set up in 5 minutes?
Because it's not just about technically connecting data. For the results to be accurate, we need to understand how you record orders, returns, cancellations, margins, countries, currencies, channels, and marketing costs.
How long does implementation take?
For a simple integration, the initial overview can be quick. For CORE, it typically depends on data availability and quality. We provide a more accurate estimate after an initial analysis.
How complex is data integration?
It depends on the data you have ready. MARKETING can be integrated more quickly. CORE requires understanding your orders, products, margins, returns, and marketing costs.
Price, Security, and Suitability
I'm not sure if this is a good fit for us. What should I do?
Write to us. Together, we'll discuss what data you have available and what type of integration makes sense.
Can I try ProfitEcom?
Yes. The demo version runs on sample data and is available without registration.
How do you handle data?
We only work with data necessary for reporting and profitability calculations. Access to reports is controlled, and individual client data is kept separate.
Why isn't ProfitEcom just a standard dashboard?
CORE is more than just data visualization. It includes an initial analysis, data unification, calculation methodology, results validation, and a dashboard designed to provide a single economic overview of the e-shop.
Who is ProfitEcom not suitable for?
It is not ideal for projects that lack real data on orders, products, or margins, or for websites that do not sell goods or services.
Who is ProfitEcom suitable for?
For e-shops that want to manage profitability, not just revenue. It makes the most sense for companies with active marketing, a larger product catalog, varying margins, multiple channels, or operations in multiple countries.
